Whats the diff between paracetamol and ibuprofin?

im 15. which is beta 4 me
paracetamol (acetominophen) is a centrally acting cyclooxygenase inhibitor which has endeavour on the hypothalamus. Ibuprofen is in the class of NSAIDs which not merely reduce inflammation surrounded by the head but thoughout the body as ably. Acetominophen dosing is limited by hepatotoxicity, whereas ibuprofen dosing is restricted by renal toxicity.
If you're not on any other drugs then ibuprofin tend to work better in my experience, but if you're taking anything close to asprin, Prozac or are asthmatic then don't touch the stuff as it can do serious side effects (especially with asthma).
Warning - do not chew the medication type ibuprofin whatever the heck you do. They piece like bleach.
The chemistry stuff - erm, what the being above said. :)
My boyfriend has braces and uses Ibuprofen - it's reduce swelling, so when his gums start playing up, it works better.
