What's fraxel laser treatment technology?

how does fraxel technology differ from your common laser treatment technology?
Instead of adjectives and pasting, I'll direct you to their site:

Short story: Instead of a big laser beam that is to say focused just beneath the top of the skin, it's a hundred tiny beam.
I've had Fraxel laser treatment to my hand.
Even after being numbed, it feel like a hundred red-hot needles, and they turn over each spot 8 times. My hand swelled and looked sunburned for a few days. The second time still hurt during, but the aftereffects were milder. Haven't have the third treatment yet.
Apparently, it's easier on the frontage. I'm waiting until October to get that done. I have Photofacial laser in former times for rosacea, and that felt similar to being snapped beside a rubber band over and over.
(I work near a plastic surgeon, and I get this for free. )
fraxel Laser Treatment produces thousands of tiny but open columns of treatment in your skin, agreed as microthermal treatment zones. This treatment eliminate old epidermal pigmented cell. It also penetrates deep into the dermis. Just as exalted, though, are the areas of skin the Fraxel Laser leaves untouched.
Unlike other laser skin resurfacing procedures which require a week or more of recovery, the Fraxel Laser requires no down time, and the discomfort during and after the procedure is mild.
